• Account Information: We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you log in, we collect your basic Google profile information (Name and Email Address) to create and manage your account.
• Vault Data (Zero-Knowledge Encryption): You may upload text, diary entries, and media to your secure vault. This data is encrypted on your device using AES-256 before it is transmitted to our servers. We do not have the decryption keys and cannot read, view, or access your vault contents.
• App Activity: We record the timestamp of your last active session (the "Heartbeat") to operate the Dead Man's Switch functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to provide, maintain, and improve the app's functionality. Specifically:

• To authenticate your identity securely.
• To monitor your "Heartbeat" check-ins.
• To securely deliver your encrypted vault data to your designated Beneficiaries if the inactivity trigger is activated and verified.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your encrypted vault data is only shared with the specific individuals (Beneficiaries) that you explicitly designate within the app, and only under the conditions you configure.

4. Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Your vault contents are encrypted at rest using zero-knowledge client-side encryption. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can delete your account directly within the app or by contacting us. Upon deletion, all your encrypted vault data and account details are permanently removed from our servers.
